Hey Albert. I do have a potential option for you for replacing the Contico 40231550 gas struts on your toolbox, but I am afraid we do not offer a direct replacement. Our closest option is the Universal Gas Strut # ATL88BR This has a 15" extended length and a 8-3/4" retracted length. It also uses a standard 10mm ball socket on each end so for that you would need part # UWSBALLSTUD as well. view full answer...
The best platform bike rack that grabs the bikes by the wheels is for sure the Kuat Piston Pro X part # KU98VR which fits the 2 inch hitch of your RAV4 Prime.
